Melrose @ Seabrook, BW Signature Collection

A family friendly comfortable and pleasant hotel close to NASA, and has an indoor pool. We did not use the pool as it was very cold in December and the pool is not heated. But well maintained.

I originally wrote a review before speaking with the owner. He explained the challenges of purchasing an old hotel building and putting a new face on it. He was extremely nice. It's a good place to stay and save money to spend on the local attractions. The front desk clerk is nice and friendly. Clean rooms and lobby. The suites are big. Bathroom water is hot and pressure is good. Rooms are cleaned every day if you're not in it when housekeeping is cleaning. Free breakfast is not IHOP...but better than McDonald's. ASK for more than one egg in your omelette. Only one wafflemaker for the whole breakfast crowd. When is the pool is warmed and a treadmill is gym, this place will be a GEM! It's worth the price. Walking distance to some decent restaurants. 8 minutes drive to NASA SPACE CENTER. 10 minutes drive to Kemah Boardwalk 15 minutes to the shopping mall.

Had an amazing stay! Staff went above and beyond - super kind and accommodating! Beds were squeaky clean (passed the black light test ), and the omelet station at breakfast was EVERYTHING. For a budget-friendly hotel, this place is a total steal! Highly recommend "

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We got in late, close to midnight, the guy at the desk was super nice. We got into our room and it was very clean. A few dead bugs, but it just tells me they use an exterminator. In the morning, the front desk guy, and the lady doing breakfast were super friendly and accommodating. The ONLY complaint that I have is the a/c in our room didn’t work the best. We will definitely stay again.

New owner Obi is great. His staff is very friendly, and even though they make the omelets very small, they are willing to make more than one until you are filled up. The workout room needs entirely new equipment as what is left over from the previous owner is in absolute dismay and unsafe for the average person to use. Overall I highly recommend this location as I have faith that in a few months Obi will have fully restored this locations potential.

I spent New Year's Eve here with my mother and daughter; it was incredible, and I enjoyed the activities around and at the hotel. The staff was friendly and perfectly understood the needs of families with children. I was able to enjoy a drink and a beautiful evening in the hotel's courtyard.

My experience itself was fantastic! The guys working the desk were great, gave me a great deal, bed was comfy....good stuff. BUT....there were roaches, shower didn't work, drain wouldn't close for a bath, hair dryer was broken, and the power button on the TV remote was busted. That was what I saw in my 10 hour stay there. If those changes were made, this would have been a 5-star review.

I love this location. The staff were phenomenal. Breakfast was great!! Before checking in, Nick the guest receptionist provided me with all of the information I needed before my check-in. I will return back to the SeaBrook Best Western location for my get away. Also, the hotel is very peaceful and quiet.
